The XDP Competition and Race Pushrods are handcrafted in the USA to XDP's stringent specifications. They feature a 7/16 diameter and are built from only the highest quality seamless 4130/4135 chromoly tubing that is cold drawn over a mandrel to increase rigidity and reduce flex. The tips are CNC machined from 86L20 bar stock that is core hardened and triple tempered, providing increased impact and wear resistance.
These materials and procedures not only extend the life of these pushrods, they improve performance of your valvetrain.
While the Competition and Race Pushrods were designed for high horsepower applications, they can be used in stock and mild applications for those who like to go overkill or for anyone that has bigger plans for a future build, but needs to upgrade their pushrods now. The 7/16 Pushrods can handle around 1500HP and are an excellent valvetrain upgrade on stock to extreme engines. Sold as a set.
